I often find that those yelling, "NAZI!" nowadays act more like NAZIs than those they yell at. 🙄 I'm a "mutt" too - with strong Nordic features - & I've struggled trying to learn German (I barely understand English: I'm not great with languages even though my sister speaks 5 languages & can also sign); however, I did understand what you said in German (because it was basic: Sehr gut, nicht war?). My dad was adopted by a couple in the U.S.A., together representing known-of German, Irish, & English cultural backgrounds (her mother immigrated from Ireland & her father's family hailed from Germany); however, by the time I was born she wasn't speaking any German - & her husband only occassionally spoke some German as well as Yiddish (which he had picked up decades prior via his exposure to both soldiers & marketers, respectively); so, not having anyone speaking a lot of German around me made learning the language more difficult (my sister didn't even attempt to learn German until she was an adult out on her own; &, she picked it up easily as she has a knack for learning languages). YHWH our God gives different gifts to different folk. And you're right, God made us all - & without any one of our respective ancestors we wouldn't be here. ✝️😎👍
